Overview

Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) is a server role of the Windows Server 2008 operating system. AD DS provides a distributed directory service that can be used for centralized, secure management of the network. This webcast focuses on the architectural decision trees for Windows Server 2008 Active Directory. It answers questions one may have about infrastructure requirements in various organization types and provide scalability and/or architectural recommendations to design Active Directory Domain Services implementation. The Infrastructure Planning and Design (IPD) guides are the next version of Windows Server System Reference Architecture (WSSRA).
