In an environment in which employees frequently need to access applications including Homeworks, Kronos, CYMA, and Citrix-served applications through resident and remote clients, network availability and efficiency is paramount to keeping patient information up to date. Access to the most current patient information assists the PPHPC team in providing the best possible care. They deployed Windows Server 2008 to a test bed of two virtualized servers. Windows Server 2008 to be immensely useful, especially in a virtualized environment.
