Goteborg University Improves Data Management With Business Intelligence Solution

Overview

Goteborg University is one of Sweden and Northern Europe's largest and most extensive seats of learning. Goteborg University wanted to improve financial management across the decentralized organization and provide high-quality business-critical information from a number of different source systems. The challenge was to introduce one centralized storage location and effective analysis tools for all current and historical information and replace a number of manual administrative routines with automated processes. Goteborg University implemented Oracle Business Intelligence to strengthen and improve university management's control of the business and worked with Oracle Consulting to implement Oracle Warehouse Builder - creating a database which gathers, compiles, and quality-assures information from a number of source systems.
