Overview
Leading Colombian telecom service provider Orbitel s primary challenge was the lack of an integral access infrastructure to support its offerings. Orbitel also needed to differentiate products and services from the competition and establish a foothold into new markets. The company turned to Cisco Systems and to Cisco IBSG for its solution. Orbitel worked with IBSG to develop corporate business plan centered on WiMax access. The company also developed sound strategy for bringing new solutions to market as well as developed new product and service portfolio to transform company's revenue composition; prioritize offerings in new product portfolio.
