The City of Albuquerque: From Heterogeneous Data Sources to Public Service Visionary

Overview

At the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico, the saying goes that a well informed public service is an effective public service. It needed to automate data collection and information sharing throughout the City of Albuquerque's 20 departments, and supply critical information to the City's 750,000 citizens in a BI extranet. It deployed IBM Cognos 8 BI solution that provides effective, efficient reporting, analysis and scorecarding from a collection of heterogeneous information sources.
