Interactive Bureau Case Study: IBM Intranet | 0000-00-00 | Precedent Communications |
| Interactive Bureau provided extensive analysis of IBM's Intranet presence, based on Interactive Bureau's WASP methodology throughout the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. The results of this analysis allowed Interactive Bureau to produce a strategy for unifying the design of a multitude of sites which had evolved in the region so that they reflect the company's structure. As well as delivering templates for key sections of the site, a style guide was produced so that other countries and departments could easily develop their own Intranet sites whilst maintaining the cohesiveness of the network.

| Seeking a more efficient way to communicate with its employees and 37 member utilities, WPPI inquired about building a secure intranet Web site where it could post sensitive corporate data, internal documents, sales forecasts and other customer-related information. Incorporating application code and design templates from their previous solution for the WPPI corporate site, IMS developed a consistent yet distinct design for the intranet with familiar content management tools allowing their employees to make site updates. By migrating the code and functionality from their existing site, IMS was able to provide WPPI with a cost effective way to manage and implement a secure Intranet.

Introducing Intranet/Extranet: Some Practical Case Studies | 0000-00-00 | Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics |
| When a Firm decides to introduce Intranet/Extranet in its working structure it has a number of alternatives to select: it may directly purchase, on its own, equipment (hardware + software) and have them installed by the Supplier; it may ask the consultancy of an experienced Provider to carry out, jointly, an implementation plan of the new tool; it may apply a Provider of Intranet/Extranet services and rent the system whose quality and efficiency are at full charge of the supplier. Five case studies are presented to illustrate different interesting solutions that can show the flexibility of Intranet/Extranet and the qualitative results they might provide. This paper presents five case studies to illustrate different interesting solutions that can show the flexibility of Intranet/Extranet and the qualitative results they might provide. | |||
