Capella Technologies Case Study: Association des Arts Graphique du Quebec | 2005-07-26 03:00:02 |
IXIASOFT |
| |
The AAGQ (Association of graphic arts of Quebec) was born in 1983 from the merge of two local associations, one in the city of Quebec and the other in the city of Montreal. The AAGQ needed to build a website. Technology needed to be evolutionary and enable easy addition of modules. One needed to be able to perform contextual researches (within the same sentence or the same paragraph) and researches by section. The sources of data were multiple (directory, pages of content, glossary) so a relational search with SQL requests was not convenient in this context. Using TEXMTL Server as a search engine sitewide, users can access industry news, glossary of terms and association events.
