| NH Hoteles wanted to facilitate the introduction of new hotels through centralized systems that are also scalable to support expansion in numerous international markets and gain a comprehensive view of client needs and interests. The challenge was to ensure high availability of critical applications and ubiquitous access to applications via the Web and improve interdepartmental relations through the introduction and standardization of horizontal processes. NH Hoteles standardized core applications and ensured consistent processes with Oracle E-Business Suite applications, allowing the company's IT department to launch the infrastructure for new hotels in just three days and facilitated compliance with the numerous tax and labor regulations in countries in which the chain operates.
