DGA Benefits From Implementing Enterprise Application Integration | 2005-05-17 05:44:03 |
IBM |
| |
The DGA, the procurement agency for the French military, wanted to understand how EAI technology could enable the systems to interoperate more effectively. IBM Business Consulting Services studied the existing environments and developed a demonstration that showed that EAI technology could help the four separate CIS systems to interoperate more effectively. IBM then assisted in selection of an appropriate software package (webMethods) to accomplish the integration.

Enterprise Metadata Discovery | 2005-05-10 04:26:01 |
BEA Systems |
| |
This white paper introduces a new metadata discovery and import model for adapters that can dramatically improve the usability of adapters within an integration framework. Using this model, developers would be able to gather information about the data and functions of an EIS (using metadata discovery). Having gathered this information, the developer would use the metadata import facilities to define a new custom interface to the required data and functions in the EIS.
