ASSA ABLOY needed to replace its outdated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with Microsoft Dynamics AX business management software. The company also wanted to find new technology on which to run the solution seamlessly with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft SQL Server. The company implemented powerful Dell blade servers to run the new Microsoft Dynamics AX solution. A Dell EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) was implemented and linked to the Dell servers via a FibreChannel.
