Short Take: Web porn leads to hostile workplace--ruling

WASHINGTON--Internet pornography created a hostile workplace for Minnesota librarians under an initial ruling Thursday by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The agency found ''probable cause'' that images of sex and child pornography on public computers at the Minnesota Central Library led to a hostile and unlawful working environment, the Washington Times reported.

The ruling was in response to a complaint filed in April by 12 librarians who worked at the Minnesota library. The library has until June 4 to answer the ruling by the commission, Robert Halagan, an attorney representing the 12 librarians, told the Times.
