SINGAPORE--IT outsourcing provider EDS has announced alliances with 10 technology providers in Singapore to offer customers an integrated offering and a single point of contact.

An extension of the EDS Agility Alliance formed in October 2004, the Singapore announcement promises businesses and government agencies in the island-state customized technologies and services from its partners.

The alliance partners include Cisco Systems, Dell, EMC, Fuji Xerox, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Siebel, Sun Microsystems and Towers Perrin.

William Woo, EDS' managing director for Southeast Asia, said in a media statement that the alliance offers customers access to top-notch IT providers.

IT personnel from the partner companies have been deployed in the EDS Agility Alliance Center opened early this year in Texas and the EDS Solution Response Center in Sydney to work on joint projects.

The Agility Alliance is also found in Australia, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong, Latin America and the United States.
