SINGAPORE--Citigroup and business school Insead, have tied up to launch an online knowledge and learning hub aimed at increasing financial literacy levels in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Financial Education Exchange, or FinEdx, Web site will feature online discussion boards and provide downloadable teaching materials, research reports and case studies for local and international financial education program providers.
Slated for launch Wednesday in Singapore, the site was designed to support the "financial education community" and make teaching materials accessible so more people are able to make "sound financial decisions", according to a media advisory jointly released by Insead and the financial services company.
FinEdx will also have an online training facility, providing leaders of not-for-profit organizations around the region with additional skills in areas such as strategy, performance management, and financial management.
The online learning hub will offer free access to users for the first year.
