Indian IT services provider, HCL, has won a data center deal with document management company, Xerox.

The contract, worth US$100 million, will see HCL providing data center hosting and migration, virtualization, consolidation and storage architecture services across Europe and North America.

The services company will help Xerox standardize its data center infrastructure and provide consulting services around upgrades.

HCL will also provide business continuity and disaster recovery for Xerox's information management operations.

Last month, the outsourcer landed a US$350 million contract with the Readers Digest Association.
