HONG KONG--Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd. Deputy Chairman Peter To will become the second top executive to leave the company in the last three months, the Hong Kong Economic Journal reported, citing unidentified people. To cited personal reasons for his departure. To, 53, who is also chief executive officer of Pacific Century Regional Developments Ltd, will retain his membership on the board of Cyberworks, Hong Kong's biggest phone company, the paper said.

Before joining CyberWorks, To worked for Hutchison Whampoa Ltd, controlled by billionaire Li Ka-shing, between 1983 and 1997, where he was responsible for property investment and development projects in Hong Kong and China. CyberWorks, controlled by Richard Li, the younger son of Li Ka-shing, earlier lost deputy chief executive Norman Yuen, the first senior staff member to leave since CyberWorks bought Cable & Wireless HKT Ltd last August.
