Indonesia's Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by SingTel and SingTel Mobile over an anti-monopoly ruling, SingTel said in a statement Friday.

Last year, Indonesia's competition watchdog, the Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU), charged that the Singapore phone service providers had violated Indonesia's anti-monopoly laws.

Subseqently, the District Court of Central Jakarta rejected an appeal by SingTel and SingTel Mobile to dismiss KPPU's findings.

On Friday, SingTel said the Indonesian Supreme Court had announced its decision to dismiss the appeals by SingTel and its subsidiary against the Central Jakarta District Court ruling.
