By registering with eOneNet.com as a member and paying a yearly fee, enterprises can build their online presence as well as promote and maintain it through eOneNet.com's Web site using the company's in-house developed Web Creator 2000 application.
"Everything is done online through www.eonenet.com, be it building a Web presence, making amendments to the Web site or adding more pages to it. Hence, enterprises don't have to worry about having to dish out RM20,000 to RM30,000 to engage a Web consultancy company and to contact the company each time they want to make changes," eOneNet.com president and CEO Fione Tan said.
eOneNet.com offers two different packages for Web design and hosting services: Pro Account (five Web pages) is priced at RM1,580 per year while the more advanced Gold Account (15 Web pages) is RM3,400 per year.
Both packages entitle customers to various services such as eOneNet.com Cashback Program, marketing-related programs conducted by eOneNet.com, submission of site to search engines and one year maintenance of the Web site.
For now, Tan said, customers can only create basic informational Web pages. "We plan to introduce e-commerce capabilities in the future."
She said eOneNet.com is especially targeted at SMEs which serve niche markets, that neither require nor have the budget for, the services of Web consultancy companies.
"By getting their businesses online, SMEs can generate more profits as the Web opens up the marketplace and it becomes a global audience," Tan said, adding eOneNet.com has to date garnered 70 clients from Malaysia and Singapore. Among her clients in Malaysia are Bankers Club KL, Famous Freight Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Les Management Services and H.V. Hair Center Sdn Bhd.
To encourage more Malaysian businesses to go online, eOneNet.com will jointly organize the e-Business Ownership Campaign with the SMI Association of Malaysia and the National SMI Consultative Center on September 20 and 21.
The campaign will see 16 CEOs and directors of various dotcoms and firms in Malaysia and Singapore sharing their experience in starting and promoting Web sites and e-businesses successfully.
Participants can expect to hear from 3Capital.com CEO Sivapalan Vivekarajah, iBroadNet.com CEO Lim Say Thean, Catcha.com chief operating officer Nic Lim, Wizoffice.com CEO Raphael Tham and Octopus.com CEO Damien Leong.
