KUALA LUMPUR--Access360, a leading provider of Resource Provisioning Management (RPM) solution has appointed Dancom Net Services Sdn Bhd its systems integration partner for Malaysia.

Although not exclusive, the appointment marks Access360's first crack at offering local large corporations its main solution, enRole.

enRole is a system that automates and manages employee and third party access to information and applications within a company's network, intranet and extranet communities.

Access360 will be tapping on Dancom Net Services' expertise as a regional marketing and value-added distribution company of enterprise network and data security products as well as services.

Dancom Net Services has in its stable of clients, Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Telekom Malaysia Bhd.

"Managing users' access into a company's resources, such as network systems, applications, software, databases and security systems is a major headache for systems administrators," explained Melvin Lim, Access360's Asia Pacific director of marketing.

"Typically in the US, around 30 percent of user identities in a company are redundant, mostly because they've left the company but have not been removed from the system.

"And the reason for the existence of these large number of redundant users has been the manual method of removing each individual's access level. enRole automates both the inclusion and exclusion processes, so that human resource administrators for instance, can include or delete an individual's access into the system within minutes," he explained.

Bryan Tan, Access360's general manager said: "We see Malaysia as an integral part of our development strategy in the region. With Dancom's experience in the telecommunications, financial and IT industries. We are confident of serving this market well".

Access360, headquartered in Irvine California, was established January 1999 and quickly established offices throughout the US and Europe. Its Asia Pacific regional office in Singapore was established April this year.

To date, about 500,000 user access levels are managed by the enRole system spread across its client base which includes British Petroleum, Overseas Union Bank, E-Trade, Sony, The Federal Reserve Board and others.
