This is nothing new. The Japanese were selling school clothes and supplies imbedded with GPS trackers years ago already. As a parent, I like the idea of being able to locate school age children who are missing. I plan on using a tracker when my kids are teenagers and using my car!

Tracking school kids..then one of you mentions your teenagers, does privacy and rights mean nothing anymore. But it wont stop thier either how about being tracked down to your every step at work, then the grocery store, then your own home. You let them begin at all and they have already won. In time they will track everything and nothing can be done without their knowledge.

Japan is the perfect place to begin inserting these chips in the population. They have the technological capability coupled with a pacifist nature thereby producing the first test case of the 'bugging' of a country. Soon they can track every single person and control will be easy. That's how they were able to nearly exterminate Christians four hundred years ago through a similar 'enrollment' process.

How the 0666 works if you aren't familiar with Unix/Linux: Unix controls user access to files and directories by assigning a permissions tag. The format is "drwxrwxrwx." The d indicates a directory. The first set if rwx refers to the permission of the owner of the file/directory, the second is for a group the owner belongs to, and the last is for everyone else (world). You specify the permission for the file/directory) by BCD (Binary Coded Decimal) notation. To convert binary to decimal (110110110 to 666 or 110 to 6) the right most is bit 0, since binary is base2, 2^0 = 1, next bit to the left is bit 1, 2^1 = 2, next bit to the left is bit2, 2^2=4, so you have 4-2-1 values. To get the decimal value, simply add the value at the position where the bit is turned "ON" (set to 1). So decimal 0666 will set 110110110 or rw-rw-rw- giving read/write access to the owner, group, and world. Similarly setting to 0755 will set 111101101 or rwxr-xr-x, giving full access to owner, read/execute permission to group and world. But everyone will start with 0666 obviously because that is the default.

Dear Japan and the world, This type of technology really could lead to the compassionate warnings posted by readers here about the Mark of the Beast. Applied Digital Solutions has done well in ignoring my emails of the past but they have heard the cry of God fearing Americans in the past from what there press responses have been. They went to the point of not telling all the truth, from what I have read elsewhere one the net, that they would introduce the tracking chips within a bracelet or watch. Instead they brought out a chip implant which can do much more than track people. The replacing of cash with in God We Trust is one goal. Another will be by whoever continues with this aganda, will be to make this mandatory by law and punishible by death if they do not accept the world wide Mark of the Beast system. Frank, This si what I believe is called a preventative measure. Tougher criminal laws don't have anything to do with tracking young children, unless of course you want to implant the chip in the criminals to find out where they are going all the time. but then what are you going to do about the new criminals. maybe we should start testing in grade school to predict who will become a criminal and just plant a chip in their brains and track them for the rest of their lives.

Most of them are functionaries in the bureaucracies of totalitarian governments. It's not just "Bible thumpers" who are afraid of RFID. To all of the nay-sayers, forget about your "big brother paranoia." All you need is one scare like I had 2nite--my son wandered out of a basement and nobody realized that the garage door was open. He walked into the street and a neighbor found him. He is only 2 years old.He had been playing with 3 other children (ages 8 through 6) while the adults were in the upstairs living room. I totally blame myself for his escape BUT had he gotten furhter away he could have wandered into a field or MUCH WORSE. You can bet your ASSES that I would have killed myself for not being more astute. I am not only going to be much more careful, I am now checking out all tracking sytems for children.

So many comments, so little intelligence and information. Perhaps there are segways into arguments about the justification of microchipping, but the fact is the ruling body of the current global community is far more corrupt then the sum of the people they rule, and therefore open rebellion of all forms should preclude these foolish ideas of the global corporate/government body being able to track us. Who will do the tracking? Who is without "sin"? Who is without deception? There are very few on this earth fit to oversee the mass, and most of those people are off meditating in temples and want nothing to do with our tom foolery. I am not religious myself, but any of you people openly insulting people who talk of the mark of the beast are far more ignorant than the people you are mocking. There is a lot of valid applicable information in revelations and you would do well to read it and take from it what you can. I myself am sick of people trying to mock the so called "big brother" theories. All of the world is controlled by a handful of people... that's not some sort of conspiracy theory... it's a foregone conclusion that no one with any sort of mental ability can deny. The people have no say in anything, political, social, or economical. You need to stand up and claim your lives back instead of sitting here insulting people who are trying to help you. It's actually good to see some fundamentalists are still around. With all this christian-right political circus stuff going on, I thought the people who truly understand their belief system had thrown in the towel for Hummers, Television, and "taking America back" (HA).
