SINGAPORE--The Network for Electronic Transfers (Singapore) Pte Ltd (NETS) today signed an agreement with several firms to introduce its CashCard in Thailand. The other partners in the joint venture are Bangkok Bank Public Company Ltd, CP 7-Eleven Public Company Ltd, Government Savings Bank, Krung Thai Card Company Ltd and TelecomAsia Corporation Public Company Ltd.
According to a NETS statement, the tie-up will launch CashCard as a multi-industry electronic digital cash payment solution for small- value transactions in the country.
Set up in 1985, NETS operates and manages an online debit payment service in Singapore. The organization's services include CashBack, Shared Automated Teller Machine service, Financial Electronic Data Interchange and CashCard.
