It seems many people find it hard to forget about work completely when they're on holiday.
The latest poll by ZDNet Asia's sister site Silicon.com, which asked how often people check their work e-mail while vacationing, found more than a third of respondents (35 percent) said they check their work e-mail messages at least once per day.
Even more worryingly for their families and partners, another 7 percent said they check their work e-mail messages hourly when they're meant to be relaxing.
Nevertheless, not everyone is so wrapped up in work--just under half the respondents to the poll (46 percent) said they don't check their e-mail messages at all when they're away from the office, while another 12 percent restrict it to once per week.
It seems techies could well be suffering from e-mail addiction whether they're on holiday or not: another recent Silicon.com poll found the majority check their work e-mail before 9am either on a PC or a mobile device.
