Firefox 3.1 beta now available

The version, intended for testing by developers, was released overnight. According to the Mozilla Web site, the beta version of the browser contains a number of new features including: Web standards improvements, added support for CSS 2.1 and 3 properties, a new tab switching shortcut and support for new Web technologies. Testing versions of the browser are available for Windows, Max OS X and Linux. Firefox previously broke all records for the largest number of downloads in 24 hours after the release of Firefox 3. |
