The first day of the imbX2007 saw vendors from across Asia and beyond showcasing a wide range of technologies, from new mobile handsets to biometrics for immigration.


Infcomm Singapore is the new brand that IDA launched with Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) early this year. This common identity is expected to help local companies gain more mindshare when they venture abroad, said Chan Yeng Kit, CEO of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), in a media briefing Tuesday.
