It's cool tech galore at CommunicAsia show, including a Femtocell base station and the world's first HSDPA Pocket PC phone.

Ericsson has managed to drive the price of its Femtocell base station to under US$60, according to a company representative. The base station enables fixed-mobile convergence services, where users can automatically connect to a Femtocell base station at home to make cheaper fixed-line calls from existing cellphones. The device also functions as a broadband modem and wireless router. A French operator is reportedly rolling out these devices within three months.
