Acer G225HQ
The G225HQ is nothing special, but it'll likely appeal to twitch gamers with next to zero input lag, its aggressive styling and affordable price. It's just a shame it's a gloss screen.

March 18th, 2010 in Monitors by Craig Simms CommentThe stylish XL2370 impresses with its contrast ratio, thin screen and comparatively low power requirements. The price really stings though thanks to the LED backlight, and it's definitely not for colour professionals, but gamers are sure to like it a lot.
March 18th, 2010 in Monitors by Craig Simms CommentAOC's 2236Vw is a budget-level model, with severe light bleed, poor greyscale control and an awful OSD. There are simply much better options in this price range, like Acer's G225HQ. As such, we can't recommend it.
March 18th, 2010 in Monitors by Craig Simms CommentWe're still not convinced touchscreen monitors plugged into desktops without dedicated software is a good idea, and the SX2210t does nothing to change this. Combined with the heaviness of the stand and the cost, unless you absolutely have a hankering for touch, we'd suggest a normal monitor instead.
March 18th, 2010 in Monitors by Craig Simms CommentWhile its display quality is no greater or less than the norm, Philips' Brilliance 225B does one thing very well: saves power. Just don't use it for gaming.
March 18th, 2010 in Monitors by Craig Simms CommentHP's Mini 210 combines style and battery life in a combination that makes it genuinely compelling.
23 hours 34 minutes ago in Laptops by Alex Kidman CommentIt won't thrill any Apple fans into not buying an iMac, but HP's latest all-in-one is quietly powerful at an acceptable price point.
1 day 59 minutes ago in Desktops by Alex Kidman CommentIt looks like a BlackBerry but behaves like an old-school Windows Mobile. Samsung's Omnia Pro struggles to deliver on our basic expectations of what a smartphone should be.
1 day 31 minutes ago in Mobile Phones by Joseph Hanlon CommentThe R580 combines attractive design and performance grunt, but you can't take this desktop replacement too far away from a power source for long.
1 day 18 minutes ago in Laptops by Alex Kidman CommentMicrosoft's ISA server has grown a loyal following over the years. The recently released Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 (TMG) is the newest prodigy in this lineage.
