Pros

Solid build quality Acceptable battery life Passive touch-screen Integrated HSDPA connectivity Spill-resistant keyboard

Cons

No optical drive No protection for side-mounted ports and connectors

Verdict

The 'business ruggedized' CF-T7 could easily pass as a standard notebook, but the extra-strong chassis, shock-mounted hard drive and spill-resistant keyboard should all help to cushion it from the rigours of life on the road.
