Pros

Small and inexpensive Fairly rugged construction Better touchpad Webcam Bigger screen and hard drive than its predecessor

Cons

Bigger screen has the same low resolution as earlier model We're still waiting for the next generation of ultramobile chips from Intel

Verdict

Intel has tweaked the Classmate PC to appeal to first-world schoolchildren, and it now offers an experience on a par with mini-notebooks such as the ASUS Eee.
