Pros

The Quicken 2010 product family gets a fresh home page that makes setting up a personal home finance operation easy. Quicken now also automatically categorizes expenses.

Cons

Many second-tier tools are clunky and text-heavy; Quicken junks up the desktop with extra shortcuts.

Verdict

Quicken 2010 is a solid finance package, especially for novices, but offers little that's substantively new.
