Pros

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 adds support for regional accents; new Voice Shortcuts for Vista and the Web, including YouTube and Wikipedia; hands-free browser commands; no new system requirements; custom-built Bluetooth headset option.

Cons

The pricey license of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 serves only one user; rocky installation on Windows Vista; no Mac option; poor audio quality on included headset led to poor results.

Verdict

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 isn't perfect, but it's the best dictation software available. We don't find this upgrade necessary for the most basic dictation, although new features may benefit heavily accented English speakers and those who rely heavily on voice commands.

Pros: Accurate, reliable, fun to use. Much faster than typing!
Cons: The included micphone is cheap and nasty. You need an NC181 USb for accurate results.
Opinion: Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 is a great product. I use mine all the time to write letters, emails and for online forums. But it was really inaccurate when I got it because the included mic is very low quality.

Once my friend got me on to the fact that the Andrea NC181 USB mic has the maximum dragon accuracy rating and is fully digital then I realized I needed one.

I got mine from the distributor here http://www.voicerecognition.com.au/nc181vm_usb_microphone.htm

and it arrived overnight. Now my accuracy is almost 99%.

voicerecognition.com.au also bundle Dragon with the NC181 USB so it s a lot cheaper to get when you buy it with Dragon 10.

Good luck and have fun with your dragon.
