HTC Hero

Reviews The Android platform has come of age in the Hero. HTC's Sense interface is superbly implemented, the device itself is intuitive to use, and the software is largely well thought-out. We'd have liked more internal memory, longer battery life and a better camera though.

HTC Touch

Reviews The HTC Touch boasts an innovative touch screen and a sleek interface, but the lack of a keyboard really limits the usability of this device. And although we're impressed by the beautiful hardware, this Windows Mobile 6 smartphone lags in performance and needs a bit more tweaking.

HTC S730

Reviews This update to the S710 adds little apart from 3G/HSDPA connectivity. In fact, the S730 is slightly heavier than its predecessor and delivers less battery life. Whether you go for the S730 will depend largely on how much you need 3G.

HTC S620

Reviews If you primarily want to handle email on the move, this slim BlackBerry-like Windows Mobile 5.0 smartphone with Direct Push technology is a good option. It has its quirks, though, and isn't suitable for creating or editing longer documents.

HTC Touch HD

Reviews Although the Touch HD's 3.8in. display makes it big and difficult to pocket, it also makes data-rich activities like web browsing much more rewarding than they are on smaller devices.

HTC Touch Diamond

Reviews HTC's Touch Diamond crams a multitude of features into a compact and stylish device, topped off by a flashy user interface. However, the TouchFLO 3D interface has too many rough edges and the battery life is terrible.

HTC Touch Dual

Reviews The Touch Dual retains its predecessor's sleek design, adding a slide-out keypad and 3G/HSDPA connectivity. Unfortunately, HTC couldn't find room for Wi-Fi as well.

HTC P4350

Reviews It's difficult to recommend the HTC P4350 unreservedly: it runs Windows Mobile 5.0 rather than the recently released version 6; also, HTC's TyTN shares the P4350's key characteristics but adds 3G, which will be a clincher for many buyers.

HTC P3600

Reviews HTC's attractively packaged P3600 offers excellent local and wide-area wireless connectivity, including HSDPA. However, it's expensive without an operator subsidy and battery life could be better.
