What is RSS?

Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution. RSS feeds are the new way to get news, job listings, and classifieds delivered straight to your desktop. As a Web content provider of either a commercial site or intranet, using RSS allows you to easily display headline news that will be of interest to your visitors. Below, ZDNet Asia offers several RSS feeds with headlines, descriptions and links back to the ZDNet Asia Web site for the full story.
