Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook T1010

Reviews The LifeBook T1010 is a distinctive-looking, if somewhat bulky, 13.3in. Tablet PC with decent specs and reasonable performance. If you're picky about keyboards, you should love this notebook.

Samsung R510

Reviews Samsung's 15.4in. R510 might not be an automatic choice for business use, but it could fit the bill if you need to combine work and leisure on a stylish yet affordable notebook.

HTC Hero

Reviews The Android platform has come of age in the Hero. HTC's Sense interface is superbly implemented, the device itself is intuitive to use, and the software is largely well thought-out. We'd have liked more internal memory, longer battery life and a better camera though.

Dell Latitude XT2

Reviews The Dell Latitude XT2's key feature is its largely successful multi-touch capability. Build quality is excellent, but the absence of an integrated optical drive is a nuisance and battery life is disappointing.

HTC Magic

Reviews The Vodafone-exclusive HTC Magic is a well-designed handset that's comfortable to hold, has a responsive touch-screen and should satisfy anyone who is happy to use Google's suite of applications.

HTC Touch Pro 2

Reviews HTC's best smartphone yet features a tilting screen, a good QWERTY keyboard and a responsive touch interface. The high-resolution screen is also superb. Our only real concern is battery life.

Panasonic Toughbook Executive CF-T8

Reviews This 12.1in. ultraportable updates the CF-T7, but some key features are still missing, notably a wide aspect ratio screen, an optical drive and a webcam. If you need ruggedness and a touch-screen, then it's a reasonable choice. Otherwise, it's a little short on features.

Panasonic Toughbook Executive CF-T7

Reviews The 'business ruggedized' CF-T7 could easily pass as a standard notebook, but the extra-strong chassis, shock-mounted hard drive and spill-resistant keyboard should all help to cushion it from the rigours of life on the road.

Orange Option ICON2 USB Modem

Reviews It's not particularly stylish and the desktop software is short on features, but if you want a reliable USB 3G modem that's ready for 7.2Mbps operation, Orange's Option ICON2 seems like a good choice.

Motorola MC35 Enterprise Digital Assistant

Reviews The Motorola MC35 has one outstanding characteristic: superb battery life. It's also more rugged than your average handheld. However, the MC35's lack of 3G and use of Windows Mobile 5 may deter some potential customers.

Panasonic Toughbook CF-52

Reviews The Toughbook CF-52 is a solidly built 'semi-ruggedised' notebook, with a hardened outer casing, shock-mounted hard disk and covered ports. However, this 3.3kg system isn't the most portable of notebooks and its battery life falls a long way short of Panasonic's claims.

GETAC B300

Reviews Like many seriously rugged notebooks, the B300 is an expensive piece of kit. We particularly like the 'sunlight readable' screen option and touch-screen capability, although its 4:3 aspect ratio makes this 13.3in. notebook seem a little dated.

InFocus IN36

Reviews Although you donÂ’t get fancy extras like auto-focus, auto-keystone or motorised zoom and elevation controls, this is one of the best-looking and most compact projectors in its class with enough brightness to present in larger rooms without dimming the lights.
