Acer TravelMate Timeline 8371

Acer TravelMate Timeline 8371

Reviews The TravelMate 8371 is solidly built, although the degree of flex in the keyboard may annoy some users. If you need an integrated optical drive, look to one of the larger models. Otherwise, enjoy the excellent battery life.

HTC Touch Pro 2

HTC Touch Pro 2

Reviews HTC's best smartphone yet features a tilting screen, a good QWERTY keyboard and a responsive touch interface. The high-resolution screen is also superb. Our only real concern is battery life.

Samsung SGH-i780

Reviews With two batteries and a separate charger, the SGH-i780 could be a wise choice for the mobile professional, although it's a bit bulky and the screen is a touch small for some applications.

Acer TravelMate 6592

Reviews This is an affordable notebook that should suit anyone looking for a capable, mostly desk-bound, system. The webcam is a nice extra, while fingerprint recognition is fast becoming a 'must have' feature for business users.

Asus Eee PC 701

Fujitsu Siemens LifeBook Q2010

Reviews The LifeBook Q2010 is a very expensive notebook, its price partly justified by the use of costly components such as weight-saving titanium and the shiny 'piano lacquer' finish. It's also unashamedly an executive status symbol.

OQO model e2

Reviews Although the OQO model e2 is a nicely built UMPC with a neat docking station, we can't see it replacing the notebook in your briefcase or the handheld in your pocket.

Panasonic Toughbook Executive CF-T7

Reviews The 'business ruggedized' CF-T7 could easily pass as a standard notebook, but the extra-strong chassis, shock-mounted hard drive and spill-resistant keyboard should all help to cushion it from the rigours of life on the road.

Panasonic Toughbook Executive CF-T8

Reviews This 12.1in. ultraportable updates the CF-T7, but some key features are still missing, notably a wide aspect ratio screen, an optical drive and a webcam. If you need ruggedness and a touch-screen, then it's a reasonable choice. Otherwise, it's a little short on features.

Toshiba Portégé R600-101

Reviews The Portégé R600 is a very alluring 1.11kg ultraportable, although the transflective screen mode, some aspects of build quality and battery life could all be better.
