The Singapore salary standards mentioned in the report, is nuts.
I have been working very closely with the industry from the professional services perspective for last 2 years.
The prevailing salary structure do not even come closer to whatever mentioned in the report.
Its over exaggeration of the reality.
Please do not fool people

This report does not make sense!!
If really have company pay that high for .net developer, let me know :D

I'm not getting anywhere near that astronomical amount mentioned by Hudson for the Singapore payscale.

Hudson's number had been ridiculous for the last 6 years. I really wonder where these so-called "analysts" get their numbers...

The payscales for Singapore are on the high side and does not reflect reality.

salary highlight is very high as compared to the actual market. Where are all the data from?

Singapore Salaries are very inflated, any to think that Hudson charge employers 30% fees for recruitment based on this information.. anyone else comment on recruitment fees?

you have accounts manager or channel sales manager drawing a pay of a company director!! Real accurate statistic should come from a survey of the paying firm / company, not Hudson. It is to their advantage to make the figure big for the sake of their commission!!

90% of singapore salary scale is not accurate! What kind of survey is that!
Posted by showmethemoney on Thursday, May 04 2006 03:55 PM

Shame on you Hudson. Figures for Singapore are so wrong. I wonder any anyone even get 25% of what you're claiming.

Singapore salaries mentioned in this report are totally wrong. What is teh source of this info?

How can such fake truth be publisehed here? It is utter rubbish figures. Where do you get it from?

Wow! This is good news!! Can I please apply for a job in Singapore with the quoted salaries, so that I can return immediately from the UK?

Thought I was paid ok until I see this......

There's a more accurate salary assessment at Contact Singapore. These numbers are so inflated, even by Silicon Valley standards and the Bay Area pays some of the highest salaries in the world.

The figures are highly inflated with one main purpose to stimulate high turn over in the job market (many people will feel under paid and try to find better opportunities).

Remember, the more volatile is the job market, the more positions will be vacant and hence more profitable for recruitment company.

I believe high commission is only the second reason as compared to the above motive.

So inaccurate!
Where in the world does Hudson get their stats for SINGAPORE? Everything is extremely INACCURATE. I'm getting less than half of the amount for my current job and so are the people I know in the IT industry compared to the trash that was portrayed in this so-called chart. A crock of bull.

Singapore salary discussion
If you look at the case studies which I posts in my blog, (web link)

You can see that IT in fact is quite a nice paying job in singapore
