Senior Java Software Engineer / Architect SOA

Immediate start - long contract position Excellent daily $$$ Large organisation, interesting projects Working as a key senior member of a development team within a telecommunications environment this role will be responsible for taking the lead on the application design, development, implementation, maintenance & enhancement of new and existing software in Portal and Service Delivery Platform spaces, to specification and on time under limited supervision and direction. You must have significant SOA experience. Responsibilities: Contributing to areas of the software development lifecycle - design, build, testing, deployment, maintenance, enhancements Develop and implement a solution design for any enhancement requests Follow appropriate process to maintain existing software Work with other members of the team to ensure the best possible solution is arrived at and appropriate sign offs are received on design & development work Liaise with other internal teams including Architecture, Projects
