Peoplesoft Systems Accountant

My client has a great opportunity for a Systems Accountant professional to start ASAP! Working in the central IT division, the Systems Accountant will be using will be using Peoplesoft v8.8 to support the Global general ledger and handle queries from over 1000 finance professionals from around the world. With over 4500 legal entities on the general ledger you will be required to work with the finance team to ensure that the ledger is reconciled correctly and on time for month end. If the finance team can't run a report due to data issues then it will be up to you to solve the issues. This role will predominantly be focused on operation duties, however, there will be project work when the bank acquires new organisations and they have to be added onto the GL or if a new interface needs to be amalgamated onto the system.
