TEKsystems is looking for a qualified SQL Database Developer interested in permanent position with one of our premier clients in the Indianapolis, IN area. Duties - Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of DBMS implementations for off-the-shelf and custom-developed solutions. Work as part of a data team within the IT application development group. - Development and maintenance of LOB applications - Data warehouse and reporting development - Website and application rollout support Requirements - University degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience) required. - 5 or more years of qualified database development, administration, and architecture experience required. - Experience with SQL Server 2008, including SSIS, SSRS and Report Builder - Ability to consistently produce, in a timely manner, clean, concise code that is easy to follow - Understanding of physical disk architecture and DBMS utilization of system resources - Understanding of
