Key Responsibilities Database Administration Minimum Qualification and Experience Should be an MCA or BE / B.Tech with 2 years of experience in SQL Server Knowledge on monitoring & analyzing SQL Log error messages & Event Logs, working of indexing algorithms Knowledge on Performance fine tuning is desired Exposure to the following is required: SQL & T-SQL coding, configuring Security, SQL Agent Jobs & Replication Configuring & troubleshooting DATA MAINTENANCE activities [Backup / RESTORE / DBCC activities] Configuring / troubleshooting OS & network related issues (basic) DTS / SSIS development & deployment Writing complex Queries (Joins, Nested queries, Unions etc) Good exposure to quality systems Competency Requirement Excellent communication skills Good team player To deliver results within deadlines Ability to work well under pressure
