Your Role: The Single General Ledger (SGL) is the collective term given to an established platform to deliver fully reconciled financial and management information reporting to the Bank. SGL captures and processes trading activity in real time (and on a batch basis) across the bank generating accounting events for position management and other reporting (i.e. operational, P&L, statutory, regulatory). The system produces thousands of reports on a daily basis, and has several thousand users. The Finance Technology department is responsible for all support and change related activity within the Finance business division. Work with business analyst and Finance IT technical experts to write Report Navigator and Discoverer reports for the LoanIQ project. Build up a strong business knowledge developing front to back knowledge of SGL environment and perform UAT testing of the reports with the users.
