Communications/WAN Engineer contract

Our client is a national leading provider of utilities infrastructure with head office based in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. They currently have a number of projects underway and due to the volumes of work required to be completed, they have a need for an experienced WAN/Communications Engineer to join the team for a 3 month contract. The WAN/Communications Engineer position involves working within the Network team as part of the National Infrastructure Group providing high level of technical knowledge and hands-on work in the on-going management and configuration of Cisco Routers and Switches, troubleshooting and day to day support of the expanding IP communications network. To be successful in this position you will ideally be certified to CCNP, CCDA or CCDP or higher levels, have extensive knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches, hubs, Cisco IOS, IP Network layers and have worked as a IP communications or IP WAN engineer recently.
