| About IT Priorities |
 |
Welcome to IT Priorities, ZDNet Asia's primary means of staying in touch with the tech plans of Asian businesses. First launched in 2004, ZDNet Asia's IT Priorities is an annual survey conducted with IT decision makers and influencers across the Asia-Pacific region. The survey results are designed to provide a near real-time snapshot of IT initiatives and business concerns--now, and in the next 12 months.

| Methodology |
The latest survey was conducted on www.zdnetasia.com in August 2007, and participants either responded to an online advertisement or e-mail invitation. ZDNet Asia received 2,369 completed responses from IT decision makers and influencers across the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Survey questions centered on organizations' current and future top three IT priorities, as well as the top three technology trends affecting their IT planning. Responses were open-ended and coded based on a comprehensive taxonomy of IT categories for further analysis.
The top 5 IT Priorities are now a focus for ZDNet Asia's editorial team, and we will use this to shape toolkits, special reports and other content on our site.
