"Trust your gut." That's one of the qualities every entrepreneur will say you need to have to be successful.

But every successful businessman also knows there are some areas of decision-making that require accurate data or information, and in such cases, you need more than just a gut feel.

Cognos helps managers answer some of these fundamental questions about their businesses. Cognos 8, the company's latest business intelligence software suite, offers a range of capabilities for enterprise executives to access and analyze data in a quick and easy-to-understand format.

To educate businesses on their latest performance management tools, Cognos also organized a series of conferences in 35 cities, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand, which were held between September and November 2005.

Cognos' clientele includes Unilever Asia, The Boeing Company, and Amazon.com
