Accenture is a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company with more than 110 offices in 48 locations.

Accenture is a member of one of the four consortiums bidding for Singapore's S$2 billion (US$1.3 billion) Standard ICT Operating Environment (SOE) project. Dubbed iN'spire, the consortium is led by Hewlett-Packard and comprises several major local and multinational corporations including Singapore Technologies Electronics, Cisco Systems, Accenture and Microsoft.

In 2006, the company announced plans to invest US$450 million over the next three years in the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) applications.

Accenture is also part of an industry group of 18 software vendors and IT services providers which have banded together to encourage Asian businesses to migrate from legacy application environments to the Windows platform.
