Atos Origin was formed in 1997 from the merger of Axime and Sligos. Its business is turning client vision into results through the application of consulting, systems integration and managed operations.

More than 60 percent of its revenue base is recurring, mainly derived from multi-year outsourcing and application maintenance contracts. Its clientele includes Reuters, BMW Group, Cisco, Ericsson, Fiat, and Nestle.

In recent years, the company has started to build solid foundations for its business in Asia, most notably in China and India, where regional revenues grew by more than 12 percent in 2005.

2005 was also a year of consolidation for Atos Origin after the acquisition and integration of Sema Group in 2004. Atos Origin's annual revenues are more than EUR 5.5 billion and the IT services giant employs over 47,000 people in 40 countries.

This company is listed in Services.
