Established in 1969, Software AG today is Europe's largest systems software provider. The company is developing a full range of products and services to deliver a service-oriented architecture (SOA) IT infrastructure.

Its technology offers process driven integration through legacy modernization and real-time single views of strategic business information. Software AG is best known as the manufacturer of the Adabas database management system and Tamino XML server. Organizations can get real-time single view of strategic business information by integrating applications and systems in both mainframe and open system IT environments.

Software AG supports the mission-critical systems of over 3,000 customers globally. Its major customers include Sony Music, Daimler Chrysler AG, and Nissan Australia.

The software maker is represented in 70 countries with more than 2,700 employees. It maintains four R&D facilities across three continents.

Software AG ranks among ZDNet Asia's Top 10 fastest-growing companies for 2006/07.
