The IT services and business consultancy company launched its Cloud Computing Center of Excellence to offer cloud consulting as well as to help businesses evaluate and implement cloud services. At the same time, Capgemini also teamed up with U.S.-based Amazon to help businesses plug into the e-commerce giant's cloud.

For the quarter ended Sep. 30, the French IT services company reported that revenues increased by 0.5 percent to 2.098 billion euros (US$2.66 billion). Consulting and technology services showed slight growth of 1.6 percent and 3 percent respectively, while outsourcing and local professional services showed growth of 8.6 percent and 10 percent respectively.
