Convergys Corporation is one of the world's leading players in relationship management.

The American company recently bought Intervoice, a provider of personalized, multichannel automated information tools. The acquisition is expected to enhance and accelerate relationship management offerings for its clients worldwide.

For the third quarter ended Sep. 30, Convergys posted a net loss of US$140 million from a net income of US$41.8 million a year ago. Meanwhile, revenues declined 3.9 percent to US$676.2 million.
