Cinepolis wanted to consolidate up-to-date operational information of the company's theaters to extend visibility throughout the organization and create a detailed and easy to access real-time online reporting system to reduce the time required to present business information to management. The challenge was to accelerate the time required to consolidate information on the theaters' flow of operations to facilitate decision making regarding sales, merchandizing, and operations. Cinepolis worked with Oracle Partner Infomedia to implement Oracle's Hyperion Essbase, consolidating business information and information on the flow of operations of more than 200 theaters in Mexico.
